– Phonex Corporation TM Corporation, a world
leader in Power Line Carrier (PLC) voice and data
communication devices, today announced that it has hired
Brad Warnock as director of marketing.
Warnock
has been charged with promoting the company and its
products in the home networking market and other new
market segments, and with raising the company’s
visibility with key market influencers and consumers.
Additionally, Warnock will manage partner and reseller
co-marketing agreements, and internal and external
marketing resources.
“Traditionally, we have relied on the high
quality of our products, and the marketing of our OEM and
reseller partners to sell our products under their brand
names,” said John Knab, Phonex Corporation president and
chief executive officer. “With some of our current and
future products, we will have direct selling opportunities
and need to raise awareness of the Phonex Corporation brand
in the market place. Brad’s strengths in product
marketing, branding and promotion will help us quickly
increase our visibility and ultimately help us achieve our
sales goals and grow the business.”
Warnock joins Phonex Corporation after successfully
consulting with and launching products for companies such
as Satel, The Digital Ranch and others. Previously, he
worked as Area Manager for Tangent Computer, where he was
instrumental in increasing territory revenue over two
years from $2.9 million to $5.3 million—an increase of
83 percent.
Warnock has also worked in various roles for 3Com,
including regional manager of vertical markets, wireless
segment manager and vendor relations manager. Warnock
received a bachelor’s degree in economics from the
University
of
Utah

and a master’s degree in business administration from
Westminster
College
,
both in
Salt
Lake City
,
Utah
.
