Prior to E-Systems, Willes was head of ASIC development at Rockwell International, and was lead system engineer at Hughes Aircraft Company.

Willes will be responsible for new product development for Phonex Corporation's power line carrier (PLC) high-speed home networking technology, and will oversee the development of technology partnerships, the filing of patents, and new innovations in networking configuration of home networking products.
